History, Mission & Breeding Philosophy

BACKGROUND

Although we had been involved with Rottweilers for as long as we can remember we started breeding them with the purchase of our first registered female from Craffenheim Rottweilers in 2005.

When this female came to age we began to look around for a sire. It was here that the paths of TIBRA and Vongershan Rottweilers crossed. With this a friendship and working relationship developed which transformed TIBRA from a mere kennel to one of the up and coming players in the business.

With her vast knowledge of the breed coupled with some of the best breeding stock in the country Shani Smit assisted us to develope our kennel  to what it is today. We bought 6 females and 1 male from her kennel. Together we co-own 4 of the best males in the country. We are also privileged to have access to all the males currently at Vongershan Rottweilers.

To widen our genetic base we bought another five females from various other breeders. In 2008 we imported Kesch Se-Ungo Rot from Serbia. We believe that this Cliff von der Konigkanzel son will add a lot of value to our kennel.

With a total of 16 females of very high standard together with the best males in the country we are striving to breed a larger than average but structurally correct Rottweiler.
